Paul Rigel Photography & Aerial

I’m an architectural, commercial property and aerial photographer based in Leeds, working across the UK.

​

My background combines photography and corporate graphic design. I studied photography at university before moving into design, working in London and later founding Pie & Mash Design in 2011 — a branding studio focused on commercial property and professional services clients.

​

That mix of disciplines continues to shape my approach to image-making. I’m interested in how buildings are communicated visually — not just as structures, but as assets, environments, and lived spaces.

Alongside commercial property work, I also take on certain residential projects, typically architect-designed or design-led homes where composition, light and material detail are central.

​

In recent years I’ve also expanded into video-based work, including both aerial and ground-based filming, using compact stabilised camera systems for architectural motion and walk-through content where required.

 

Whether commercial or residential, my focus remains the same – clarity, precision, and imagery that supports the intent of the space.
