One Sovereign Quay, Leeds
Client: DLG Architects
Building type: Offices / Restoration
Commission type: Photography / Aerial Photography / Aerial Videography
Project scope: 30 images (mix of ground and aerial) / aerial video
Commissioned by DLG Architects and shot over 3-4 days during mid-winter, this stunning building sits on Bridge End, a very historic bridge in Leeds city centre. It was the bridge on which the first ever motion picture was captured in 1888 by Louis Le Prince.
DLG Architects were responsible for the restoration of the building and included two additional floors and two new fantastic wrap-around balcony areas with floor to ceiling glazing allowing for magnificent views down the River Aire and across the city.
A mixture of ground and aerial stills made up the commission and included some aerial video, both interior and exterior.
